Privacy notice.

Last updated 15 October 2026

This notice explains what personal data Pizza Club collects, why, and what we do with it. We keep it to the minimum we need to run the events.

Who we are

Pizza Club is run by Rosie Johnstone of Sapphire & Rose Communications, who is responsible for your personal data (the “data controller”). For anything to do with your data, email hello@wearepizzaclub.co.uk.

What we collect and why

  • Mailing list: your email address, so we can tell you about upcoming Pizza Club events. We only email you because you asked us to (your consent), and every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Event bookings: your name, email address and anything you tell us when booking, such as your business name or dietary requirements. We use this to manage your place, order the right food and contact you about the event. We need this to provide the booking you've asked for.
  • Dietary requirements: these can sometimes reveal health or religious information. We only ask for them with your explicit consent, only use them for catering, and you never have to give a reason.
  • Emails to us: if you email us, we use your message and contact details to reply.

We never sell your data, share it with other attendees, or use it for anything other than Pizza Club.

Cookies and tracking

This website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies, and doesn't track you. Our booking pages use only the essential cookies needed to make a booking work. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse.

Who helps us

We use a small number of trusted services to run Pizza Club. They only process your data on our instructions:

  • Our server in Canada stores the mailing list and bookings. The UK recognises Canada as providing adequate protection for personal data.
  • Cloudflare hosts this website and securely connects you to our server. Cloudflare may process data in the US under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
  • PurelyMail delivers our emails, such as booking confirmations and event news.
  • Google Fonts supplies the fonts this website uses, which means your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address with it.

How long we keep it

  • Mailing list: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email address on a “do not contact” list, so we never email you again by mistake.
  • Bookings: up to 12 months after the event, then deleted. Dietary requirements are deleted sooner, once the event has happened.
  • Emails to us: for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the data we hold about you
  • correct anything that's wrong
  • delete your data
  • stop or limit how we use it
  • withdraw your consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing

Just email hello@wearepizzaclub.co.uk. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first, though.

Changes

If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
